Dr. Joe Pater (Vice-President)
Dr. Joe Pater is a semi-retired Emeritus Professor of Oncology at Queen’s with a continuing involvement in clinical cancer research. He lives downtown in Kingston with his wife Beth and has had a cottage on Loughborough Lake since 1987. He is a strong supporter of the conservation efforts of the Nature Conservancy of Canada.

Nada Beamish
Nada Beamish is a retired special education teacher who moved to Loughborough Lake six years ago. She became involved with the board to learn more about the lake, its history, and its conservation. She coordinates, with MNRF, the annual trout stocking event, has taken monthly lake samples for testing and enjoys canoeing and kayaking with her family in the summer and skating and snowshoeing on the lake in the winter.

Anne Fisher has a deep care for protecting our lake and forests and is an advocate for promoting good health and well-being. With her husband she has been living on Loughborough Lake for 20 years in the home they built together.

Kevin Kapler (Treasurer)
Kevin Kapler is a resident of Loughborough Lake, He left a career in mental health to focus his energies into being a glass artist, grandparent, caretaker of everything necessary and not so necessary to support his busy wife, and into being on the water, catching fish or not.

Dr. Roel Vertegaal
Dr. Roel Vertegaal is a Computer Scientist. He has lived on the lake for 20 years, and is passionate about wildlife conservation, as well as studying, photographing and writing about the wonderful diversity of animals and plants that live in the area. He is a strong supporter of the conservation efforts of the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
